The Rector's Page
Welcome to St. Mark's web page! We are a Eucharistic,
inclusive,community in the midst of rejoicing & celebrating the resurrection of our
Lord Jesus Christ. We encourage this joy & celebration of hope & new life,
throughout the year. Spiritual growth is encouraged through weekly Eucharistic Services,
bible study, faith sharing, times of reflection,various forms of religious education,
pastoral care & social outreach. Our youth, fully participate in worship services
& are currently involved in serving the wider community with a dry goods pantry.
St. Mark's is a community, that celebrates the diversity of our gifts & the various
religious experiences of our members. This past Lent, we celebrated this diversity through
weekly Ecumenical services. These Lenten services held at St. Mark's & various
denominations' churches, enriched our congregation & numerous members of the United
Methodist's, Lutheran's & Roman Catholic congregations as well.
Our hope here at St. Mark's, is to create sacred space
for the spirit to increase our appreciation & acceptance of each others gifts. We
desire to be fully alive with God's love & experience this love with others. Please do
not hesitate to inquire about the Episcopal Faith & St. Mark's. Our lives are enriched
by each new member & visitor. We will be blessed if you choose to share your presence
& gifts with us.
